Moondog
Moondog was a great American musician, composer, writer, poet, inventor, philosopher and genius. There's a brief biogrpahy of him here
Pete Harvey, cellist extrodinare, introduced me to Moondogs material last year, he was thinking of putting on a concert of Moondog's music (still a plan somewhere on the back burner) and the idea of doing a compilation of covers of Moondog tracks came up. We;re currently putting it togethre, we've 40 odd musicians working on tracks at the moment, and it should be out sometime in 2009.
